Street Scenes Mostly from Melbourne: Photographer Wendy Holmes Noyes Street Scenes Mostly from Melbourne: Photographer Wendy Holmes Noyes
Saturday, July 5, 12:00pm - Sunday, August 31, 12:00pm
For the last ten years Wendy Noyes’ daughter has lived in Australia, offering the opportunity of many trips down-under. Describing the exhibit, the photographer says: “Melbourne is a city with a vibrant culture, visually full of color and grassroots artwork. Many public and private surfaces have become canvases for street paintings. Alleyways, doors, brick walls have been adorned, creating a kind of endless outdoor museum. These images of painted walls and other surfaces are full of information, of course – colors, forms, textures – but also, each one is a discovery.”
