Ghent artist Martina Angela Muller shows "Small Works from Wind and Water Series. A reception takes place on Friday, May 2, from 5 to 7 pm. Muller is a visual artist practicing in a number of fields, including painting, drawing, and sculpture. The main body of her work is abstract painting, fueled by the ongoing question into the nature and expression of color. This work is mostly done in oil, but she also enjoys sculpture, environmental art and installation. She was born and raised in Germany, studied art in England and Germany, and moved to Eugene, Oregon in her twenties. She teaches at the Alkion Center for adult education, which she cofounded, and at Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School.
