Summerfest, Saturday, July 9, 10am-4pm
Summerfest 2011 will be celebrated in the Village of Chatham on Saturday, July 9, 10a –4pm. This is a fabulous opportunity for community members and visitors to get great bargains from local merchants, learn about area not-for-profit organizations, eat delicious foods, and to be entertained with music, dancing, movies, and more!
The Chatham Area Business Alliance (CABA) organizes this day as a celebration of the entire Chatham area. Some of the groups that will be at Summerfest include Habitat For Humanity, local churches, animal rescue groups, historical societies, political organizations, and the Chatham Film Club. Email us if your not-for-profit group is interested in participating.
Sidewalk sales begin on Friday, July 8th and continue through Summerfest on July 9th. Afternoon entertainment will feature Starlight Pros. DJ Michael Lasher will have the whole area tapping feet, dancing, and singing along. Bring your requests and your dancing shoes. (This entertainment is sponsored by a generous donation from the Kinderhook Bank.)
